Besides watching Frozen 2 every few days, I have only really been watching documentaries recently. And I have four documentaries and docuseries' to share that I really enjoyed and learnt a lot from.
Lennox Hill
I haven't really seen anybody talk about this series but I cannot say enough good things about it. The reason I started watching this was because I saw a post that said this is like a real like version of New Amsterdam and that is one of my new favourite TV shows. And it is that but so much more. This show follows a bunch of medical professionals and some of their cases and I am in awe of them all. I hope Netflix makes more shows like this one.
13TH
Even if you don't have a Netflix subscription you can watch this one as they have uploaded it in full on their YouTube channel. This documentary explores the 13th amendment which abolished slavery except for those convicted of a crime. I can't recommend this enough, I learnt so much from this documentary and I think this should be required viewing.
Athlete A
I truly hate Larry Nassar and some of the people at USA Gymnastics and this documentary not only details the disgusting things Larry did but also shows the abuse that happens behind the scenes. This was hard to watch as it does talk in detail about sexual assault but it is definitely worth a watch. These girls deserve the world.
Down to Earth with Zac Efron
I have only watched a few episodes of this so far as it only dropped on Friday but I will watch anything with Zac Efron in! This documentary follows Zac as he travels around the world and focuses on the different experiences and sustainable living practices in each country.
What have you been watching on Netflix recently?
