Christmas 2020 Movie Recommendations #5

I can't believe Christmas is next week! I need up get all of my gifts wrapped and watch all of the movies as I haven't watched that many this month which is insanity for me. Today I have three movies to share, I have been really enjoying sharing these movies this year so if you need a movie to watch this week, I have you covered. Christmas 2020 Movie Recommendations #5Too Close for Christmas (Lifetime Original)

"A woman's feelings start to change when she reluctantly spends Christmas with the man responsible for ending her last relationship."

I loved this movie, it stars Chad Michael Murray and Jessica Lowndes who are two of my favourite actors to watch in these TV movies as I loved them in One Tree Hill and 90210. And in this movie, they hate each other and the hate to love trope is one of my favourite things! This is one of my top two movies from Lifetime so far.

Noelle (Disney Plus)

"Kris Kringle's daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun but wishes she could do something "important" like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over for their father this Christmas. Nick is training to be Santa, but is failing miserably. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away to clear his head...but then he doesn't return."

This isn't technically a new film for 2020 but it is new for us in the UK as it only got released this year. This stars Anna Kendrick and this movie has already become a yearly staple for me. I watched it last year and I loved it! I'm going to watch it again tonight and I know I will probably have it on in the background when I wrap gifts as I need to watch this a few times this year now it's on the streaming service.

Five Star Christmas (Hallmark Channel)

"After moving back to her hometown, a woman plots with her siblings and grandparents to help her father's new bed and breakfast get a five-star review from an incognito travel critic."

This stars Bethany Joy Lenz who was also in One Tree Hill (do you see a theme here?) and this was a lot of fun! This is still a romance like Hallmark typically creates during the holiday season but it also has a fun and hectic plot which makes it a little different than the usual Christmas Hallmark movie.
