My hair is something I am always getting bored of. Whether it's the colour, the length or the products I am using, I am always looking for new things to try out. And shampoo bars are finally making their way to the high street and I knew I had to finally give one a try and see if I liked the concept! 
Having never used a shampoo bar before, I quickly became a fan of this. There are a few different variations available and I have the one for normal hair. The Garnier Ultimate Blends Coconut Hydrating Shampoo Bar with Aloe Vera retails for £7.99 but it is currently on sale for £3.99 at Boots and you get a free storage box as well while stocks last. I would highly recommend this deal as I don't have a storage box and it is one of the few things I dislike about the product.
This is really quick and easy to use, all you have to do is wet your hair and the bar itself and then lightly glide the bar across the roots until it starts to lather. I find wetting the bar to be key and once it starts to lather you are good to start massaging it into the hair and scalp. It doesn't take long to do this and then all that's left is to rinse through and apply your favourite conditioner!
It is really effective and leaves the hair feeling clean without being stripped. And as it is infused with Aloe Vera it will help to purify the hair from root to tip. I have found myself reaching for this other my usual shampoos which I was surprised about. I really like the way this leaves my hair feeling and I will definitely look into more shampoo bars in the future as I like how long lasting they are and how they are kinder on the environment. I'm not sure I would personally pay the full price for it as Garnier like to shout from the rooftops that there are no animal derived ingredients or by products in their products but they do still test on animals at the end of the day.
