L'Oreal Air Volume Easy Waterproof Mega Mascara Review

The L'Oreal Air Volume Easy Waterproof Mega Mascara is the waterproof edition of the Air Volume Mega Mascara that I recently reviewed and I do really like it! I had actually finished it and was using it a tonne so I was happy when the easy waterproof version arrived through the letterbox. This mascara has a waterproof, smudge proof and flake resistant whipped formula to give the lashes an inflated look with mega volume that's lightweight. It's also long wearing and claims to be easy to remove. I was really intrigued by the easy to remove claim as I do prefer waterproof formulas, especially with the UK weather and I find that wearing a face covering keeps melting my mascara off, but I always hate how hard they are to remove as they often pull my lashes out. This one is suitable for sensitive eyes and is hypoallergenic. 

Like the original, this mascara is a great one if you are looking for volume and thickness. It doesn't add a tonne of length but it doesn't claim to and it never leaves the lashes looking clumpy or feeling crunchy or crispy. It holds a curl well and works well with other mascaras if you do want to layer them, I like to use a lengthening mascara beforehand as I love super long lashes. These mascaras do have a very wet formula and I always like them more after they have been open for a couple of weeks as I find them easier to work with.

This mascara gives the lashes the same look as the original that I tried and loved (you can read my review here) but I do prefer this formula. It's longer wearing and I am always looking for that in my makeup products as I apply my makeup at 5am and it's on until the evening. And as it is a waterproof formula, it really doesn't budge but it really is easy to remove! I actually find it easier to remove than most mascaras which is so impressive considering this one is waterproof. If you can't decide between the two, I would go with the waterproof version!
