Urban Decay x Prince Collection Review & Swatches

The Prince collection from Urban Decay might be one of my favourite launches of 2021 so far. The collection contains a selection of eye makeup products which I have to share today but there is also a highlighter and brush in the collection which I might need to get my hands on soon! Urban Decay x Prince Collection Review & SwatchesUrban Decay x Prince Collection Review & SwatchesUrban Decay x Prince Collection Review & SwatchesUrban Decay x Prince Collection Review & SwatchesUrban Decay x Prince Collection Review & SwatchesThere are two eyeshadow palettes in the collection and each one retails for £49. The Prince Lets Go Crazy Eyeshadow Palette is the more colourful of the two and contains a selection of purple hues and other shades that pay tribute to Prince. I like this palette and use it a lot more than I thought I would! The shimmer shades are incredible. The other eyeshadow palette is the Prince U Got The Look Eyeshadow Palette which is packed full of gorgeous golds and deeper shades for smokey eyes. I really like the selection of shades in each palette as you can create full eyeshadow looks with them, I have noticed with quite a few of the palettes in my collection that they never seem to have a brow bone highlight shade which is annoying but not the case with these palettes.

Both palettes have a mixture of matte and shimmer powder eyeshadows and these palettes have my favourite formulation out of the palettes I have tried out recently. They are very smooth when applied with your fingers or with a brush and they hold up well throughout the day even without primer. There isn't a lot of fall out when you apply them and the powder kick back when a brush is dipped into the pan isn't too bad either. You can create so many different looks with both palettes and I have been reaching for them a tonne since I got my hands on them. I also love the packaging, it's very Prince and makes a statement.

The next two products I have are eyeliners. The first is the Prince So Dark Kajal Eye Pencil and the other is the Prince When Doves Cry Kajal Eye Pencil. These retail for £22 each and are some of the best eyeliners I have ever used. I have been using the white one every single day to brighten the eyes by applying it in the waterline and I cannot fault it! It's the longest wearing eyeliner I have ever used in my waterline! Both eyeliners are intensely pigmented and creamy but don't budge or smudge throughout the day. I highly recommend them.

The Prince collection is limited edition and you can find it here
