For years now, I have adored Urban Decay eye shadow palettes, like pretty much anyone who has tried one! And in the last few months I have been using my Ultraviolet Palette a lot more than I expected to (you can see my review and swatches here) as I don’t typically use a lot of shadows that aren’t shades of nude. I was excited when I heard about this launch as it is packed full of gorgeous shades that I knew I would get a lot of use out of.Urban Decay Naked Cyber Palette Review & SwatchesUrban Decay Naked Cyber Palette Review & Swatches

The Urban Decay Naked Cyber Eyeshadow Palette retails for £45 and features 12 futuristic shadows in a mixture of shimmer, mattes and iridescent glitters with some reflective duo-chrome finishes. This is a very wearable eyeshadow palette and I like that it has more shimmers than matte shades as they are always what I lean towards. The palette also comes with a dual-ended eyeshadow brush and a mirror inside the compact.

The shades in the palette have a sunset theme if you ask me with tones of pink and warm neutrals with some peaches, blues and lilac shades as well as a scorching orange/red matte powder shadow. This is one of my favourite eyeshadow palette releases of the year! You can apply these eyeshadows with a tool of your choice but with the shimmer shades, I always find they apply the best with my finger. If you wanted to use a brush to apply them, I would recommend applying them wet for the highest intensity. The shadows in Naked Cyber are:

- A.I: Cream (satin finish)
- Meta Data: Champagne (shimmer finish)
- Virtual: Peach (matte finish)
- Electrode: Sheer peach (shimmer finish)
- Cyberspace: Peach/Mint duo-chrome (shimmer finish)
- Gadget: Peachy pink (matte finish)
- All I.T: Sheer pink (shimmer finish)
- Not a Bot: Warm toned silver (metallic finish)
- Static: Silver glitter (iridescent finish)
- Y3K: Red/Ice blue duo-chrome (shimmer finish)
- Override: Sheer red iridescent (glitter finish)
- BYTE: Warm red/orange (matte finish)

I always apply my eyeshadows without any primer, I always either forget to apply it or I am in a hurry to put on my makeup for the day at 4:30am during the week. The formulas and pigmentation of the eyeshadows are what I have come to expect from Urban Decay. They are well pigmented and smooth to apply with minimal fall out during application and there isn’t too much kick back in the pan. As a lot of the shadows are lighter colours, they do natural on the skin and some shades are sheerer than others but that is the intended effect with them.

As I like lighter eyeshadows for everyday, this is a great palette for me! I haven’t had any issues with applying the lighter shades, the only shade I struggled with was BYTE as it is such an intense eyeshadow, it can be a little tricky to apply. My favourite shades are Virtual, Cyberspace, Call I.T, Not a Bot and Electrode. This palette has a Vegan formula.

Urban Decay is a cruelty-free brand.
