Lip oils and balms are my favourite types of lip products. I have been the biggest Tarte fan for years now and I have loved everything I have tried. They have a sister brand called Sugar Rush and one of the products that I had been wanting to try since it launched was this lip oil and I finally ordered it a while ago and I can't believe I waited so long.
The Sugar Rush Lip Sip Vegan Lip Oil retails for £14 and is available in four shades, I went for the shade Dragon Fruit which is a raspberry. The shade has a hint of berry to it so it's perfect for this time of year. This lip oil will give the lips a wash of colour and while hydrating thanks to a formula that contains jojoba, hazel and sunflower seed oils. It has been formulated without petroleum, parabens, gluten and many other things that Tarte classes as the bad stuff.
I can't get enough of this lip oil! It's the perfect thickness without feeling greasy, heavy or too sticky on the lips and I love the amount of colour it provides. It gives the lips a sheer wash of colour which is what I usually prefer! It smells and tastes absolutely delicious thanks to its raspberry sugar cookie flavour. It's also quite long-lasting on the lips and because it does have a slight stickiness to it and it does stay on through drinking and snacking.
It's very nourishing, comforting and hydrating on the lips and I really like the doe-foot applicator as it makes it so easy to apply. One of my favourite things about this lip oil is how glossy it leaves the lips looking, I can't get enough of it. Tarte also sells this product in a mini size.
