It has been a while since I have shared any new Glossier reviews but during the Black Friday sale I did make an order and I have been using this product since! I also picked up the Cookie Butter Balm Dotcom which is the best smelling balm I have in my collection. It is limited edition so if you did want to pick that up, I wouldn’t wait around. Glossier Monochrome in Heather Review & Swatches (+ Discount Code)Glossier Monochrome in Heather Review & Swatches (+ Discount Code)Glossier Monochrome in Heather Review & Swatches (+ Discount Code)Glossier Monochrome in Heather Review & Swatches (+ Discount Code)Glossier Monochrome Trio in Heather Swatched

The Glossier Monochrome retails for £19 and is an refillable eyeshadow trio. It’s available in ten shade options and I love the idea behind this product. Everybody has a signature shade that they like on their eyes and once you find it, you wish you had it in different finishes and Glossier has the solution! Each of the trios comes with one shade in three different finishes, I have my eyes on a couple other shade options so I like that these are refillable, you can buy the inserts for slightly cheaper and switch them out if you don’t need the housing component.

In each of the trios is a matte, satin and metallic eyeshadow. They have buildable finishes and can be used alone or together for a more monochromatic look. The shades you can choose from are from a edited wardrobe of 10 essential shades that can be found in nature. They have Vegan formulas and have been formulated without talc. The tin compacts are reusable, recyclable and easy to refill if you want to swap out your trio. Inside the compact is a removable mirror as well.

I went for the shade Heather that is described as a neutral rose and I find this shade works brilliantly with my skin tone. I am pretty pale and even though it is a little darker than I would usually go for I find it doesn’t close in my eyes or make them appear smaller. I really like the formulas of these powder eyeshadows as they are buildable, I like to go sheerer with my eyeshadows sometimes. The satin shade is my least favourite from the trio as it does have a darker undertone once applied but I have no issues with the formula. The matte shade is easy to apply and blend. I usually just grab the first brush I find in the morning and run this across the lid and into the crease. The metallic shade is gorgeous with a shimmery sparkle finish. I find it best to apply this shade with my finger.

I like the combination of the metallic shade on the lid and the matte in the crease too. I find these shadows to be really long-wearing and I love that there is very minimal kickback in the pans when you dip a brush or finger into them and there is little to no fall out when you apply the shadows. This is another winning Glossier product for me and a staple in my makeup bag.
