Recently Watched #1: Disney Movies & Docuseries'

  I don't watch TV series' or movies too often as I am almost always reading if I have the time but recently I have watched a couple of things and there are a lot of new releases coming that I am excited to watch so I thought I would start sharing some of my favourites. I have been making the most of my Disney+ subscription and watching things other than Marvel for once! The first movie I watched was Encanto. This movie is completely worth the hype and the soundtrack is incredible and quite a few of the songs are already on my 'On Repeat' Spotify playlist. 

"The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift -- every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger."

The other two movies I watched on Disney+ were The Parent Trap and The Lizzie McGuire Movie. I have been in the mood to watch all of my favourite childhood movies and I have been having the greatest time. I hadn't watched The Parent Trap since I was a kid and it was somehow even better than I remembered and it was my favourite movie! The soundtrack is so good and I highly recommend watching it if you want to experience high levels of joy. Up next are the Mary Kate and Ashley movies! 

Season two of Cheer dropped on Netflix about two weeks ago and I binged it. I loved the first season and this new season follows the team in the aftermath of the show airing and it's honestly kind of heartbreaking. It also covers the sexual assault allegations with Jerry Harris and the victims are actually in an episode. I really loved seeing the other team featured in the season as well as I loved that coach and was rooting for them!
