Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Pillow Talk Review

In 2021 I really wasn't interested in buying any new makeup products but now I can't stop wanting to buy them all! I have a couple of products from Charlotte Tilbury and this is one of the newest ones I have added to my makeup bag and I know many more will be in there soon.Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Pillow Talk ReviewCharlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Pillow Talk ReviewCharlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Pillow Talk ReviewThe Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in available in around six shades and retails for £25. I have had my eye on this product since it first launched but I'm glad I waited as I have the shade Pillow Talk  which wasn't available at the time. I know this shade is massively hyped and I do think it's worth it. I was never a nude lip lover until I tried the shade. This product is a high-shine sheer lip gloss that is packed full of skincare ingredients to give the lips an instantly kissable, mirror-shine lip look.

What I like about this gloss is all of the lip loving ingredients as lip glosses can be drying on the lips but this one is actually conditioning. It contains Vitamin A, Coconut Oil, Marula Oil as well as lip plumping effect ingredients like Mustard Sprout Extract as well as Peppermint Oil and Organic Menthol Crystals to leave the lips refreshing and cooled.

In each tube is 7.9ml of product and the tube features the classic rose gold colour the brand is known for. The applicator is a heart shaped doe-foot which is my least favourite thing about the product. I have had this for almost a month now and I don't like the way the applicator applies product to the lips. The shade Pillow Talk is a nude-pink that is very similar to my natural lip shade.

I really do love the way this looks and feels on the lips. It is a little thicker than a usual gloss and I like that about it. It isn't sticky and I don't find my hair is ever getting stuck in it while I am walking home from work. It gives the lips gorgeous high shine and it is pretty long wearing for a gloss. I don't usually have to reapply for around five hours which is impressive even with mask wearing! The cooling effect isn't overpowering and I can only imagine how nice that will be when used in warmer months. I love how hydrating and comforting it is on the lips and the way it leaves the lips looking so much plumper with the glossy finish. I can only imagine how nice this would be paired with the Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk as this is sheer in pigmentation.

I have tried a lot of glosses and I have to say this is extremely similar to the Dior Lip Maximiser! It gives the lips a very similar cooling effect and they both leave the lips looking plumper with a stunning gloss and shine while also hydrating the lips. I can't call this a dupe as they are both high end products with quite similar price points but this one is a few pounds cheaper than the Lip Maximiser and you do get more product as well.

Charlotte Tilbury is a cruelty-free brand.
