Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation Review

Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favourite luxury brands and this foundation is getting so much hype that I had to buy it to see what all the fuss is about! I have had Charlotte Tilbury foundations in the past and while I liked them, I never repurchased but I know this foundation will already be getting repurchased! The Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation retails for £34 and is available in 30 shades, I went for the second lightest shade in 2 Neutral which is for those with fair skin tones and neutral undertones. This is a medium coverage foundation with a hydrating formula and has been formulated with skincare ingredients to combine instant glow, buildable coverage and long-term skincare benefits in one product. The packaging is a little less luxe than I would expect from the brand but I do feel like it is of high quality and I love that features a pump. 

It features brightening Rose complex, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and is going to leave the skin looking more radiant, plumper, smoother, appearing more even and help minimise the appearance of pores, pigmentation and dark spots. It also has a long-lasting and wearing formula with up to 16 hour wear time. 

To apply the foundation I prefer to use a brush, I have tried it with a sponge and I wasn't a fan. I use about a pump and a half per application and it gives me an almost full coverage. The coverage is one of my favourite things about it as it covers everything with ease, I need a concealer version of this foundation for under the eyes! It doesn't look or feel heavy or cakey on the skin, it really does look like skin. I love the way it wears throughout the day, it doesn't bunch up or settle into my lines and pores. 

It is an absolutely gorgeous product I have to say it is one of the best foundations I have tried out in years. It's extremely long wearing and I love that it is hydrating as my skin has been much drier in the last couple of years. My skin is left looking even, smooth and so much healthier looking with a glow after each application. I can't recommend this enough if you have a similar skin type to me!
