Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation & Brightening Concealer Review

I have been trying out quite a few products from Rare Beauty if you saw my first impressions post (you can check that out here) and today I have two full reviews to share. This will be the first of many reviews to come, I have already become a big fan of the brand and I am so happy it's finally available in the UK at Space NK.Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation & Brightening Concealer ReviewRare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation & Brightening Concealer ReviewThe Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation retails for £26 and is available in 48 shades, I ended up going for the shade 140C. This shade does look like it would be a little too dark for my skin tone but I find it lightens slightly once it sets and it's a great match. This foundation will dry to a skin-like finish while evening out skin tone and smoothing the look of pores without clogging or caking the skin. It will last all day long and has a medium coverage with a serum like texture.

I adore this foundation and the first thing I am a huge fan of is the applicator. It features a doe foot applicator which makes application mess free and gives you more control over the amount you apply without wasting any. The texture is lovely and once applied I can't feel it at all on the skin, it is truly weightless. Even though this is a medium coverage foundation it is on the higher coverage scale and I love how natural and skin like it looks. It wears beautifully throughout the day and doesn't settle into lines and pores. It covers discolouration and any spots with ease as well. This is definitely a foundation I will be repurchasing in the feature.

The Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer retails for £18 and is available in 48 shades as well. This concealer has a medium buildable coverage with a radiant, skin like finish and will work to instantly hide blemishes, dark circles, redness and fine lines. It has a creamy and hydrating formula that is long-wearing and sweat resistant. This is the one product from the brand that I wasn't too sure on when I first started to test it out. However over the last couple of weeks I have grown to like it.

It also has a doefoot applicator like the foundation but it is a slightly different shape. To achieve the type of coverage I like under the eyes I do need to apply more product that I am used to but it doesn't cake or settle into any lines which I am happy about. It is long wearing and I love the finish it has on the skin. It works brilliantly with the foundation and I find it looks and wears its best when I use a loose powder to set it.

I love the packaging of the whole brand, it's unlike anything else in my makeup collection. I also like that the base products are available in three different undertones for better colour matching. They are available in warm, cool and neutral undertones and both products are suitable for sensitive skin. If I had to only recommend the foundation or the concealer, it would have to be the foundation!

Rare Beauty is a cruelty-free brand.
