Liquid highlighters and cream blushes are products I used to stay clear of but when Rare Beauty launched in the UK back in February I knew I had to finally give them a try. I had heard nothing but great things and so far I haven't been disappointed!Enchant swatched
The Positive Light Liquid Luminizer from Rare Beauty retails for £21 and is available in eight shades, I have the shade Enchant to talk about today. This is a liquid highlighter that will work well with all skin tones. It has a long-lasting and lightweight formula that is easy to layer over other creams, liquids and powders without disturbing makeup. You can also mix it with foundation for an all-day glow that will not fade, crease or settle into fine lines.
The shade Enchant is a slightly pink toned highlight and I adore it. It is packed with light-reflecting pearl particles to provide a luminous finish to the skin. These liquid highlighters are packaged in the striking and unique packaging Rare Beauty is known for and come with a doefoot applicator. I can definitely see myself picking up a few more shades over the next couple of months too.
I really like this liquid highlighter! I have applied it a few different ways and it works brilliantly every single time. My favourite way to apply it is over foundation and it applies and blends like a dream. I apply a few dots to the cheekbones and anywhere I want to highlight and blend with either my fingers, a brush or a sponge. It will work with anything which is another element I like about it. It doesn't settle into the pores or fine lines and you can layer it with a powder highlight of a similar shade for a more intense glow. You can easily build up the intensity of the highlighter or sheer it out for a more natural glow. It is extremely long wearing which I am always looking for in my makeup.
Rare Beauty is a cruelty-free brand.
