Dior Backstage 002 Glitz Glow Face Palette Review & Swatches

Dior has always been my favourite luxury brand. When I was a teenager I would save all of my money every month to be able to go to the Dior beauty counter and buy a product or two. But over the years, especially since having this blog I haven't been trying too much from the brand but my love is back in full force. The Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette retails for £36 and is available in three shades. I have the 002 Glitz shade which features a shimmering peach, a bronze with holographic accents as well as a pearly white and gold shade. This is a multiuser face palette that is a Dior makeup artist secret for adding instant radiance with professional results for a natural healthy glow to an intense luminosity. I adore the packaging of this palette, it's stunning yet simple and I can't get enough of it. 

I really like how multi-use this palette is. I have been using it every single day since it was delivered and it works brilliantly on the face and eyes. The shade 002 is warmer toned but light enough for my light skin tone. The bronze shade is a little too dark for me to use as a bronzer at the moment (it will be perfect for the summer time) but it works brilliantly as an eye shadow! 

The top two shades in the palette, Glitter Strobe Gold and Glitter Strobe Pink Gold, are two of the most stunning highlighters I have in my collection. While they look glittery, on the skin it isn't as if the glitter is an overlay or makes you look glittery. Both shades add the most stunning glow to the skin, I like using them individually and together mainly on the cheekbones and in the inner corners. You can sheer these shades out for a more subtle glow or build up the intensity. The peach shade is my new favourite blush. It has the most stunning sheen to it and looks stunning on the skin. 

All of the powders are unlike anything I have tried in a while. They don't look powdery on the skin, they apply like a dream and are everything I would expect from a brand like Dior. They're long-wearing and all four shades blend extremely well and the highlighters don't draw attention to my pores or any texture that I have. For £36, I think it is well worth the price tag and I am already planning on ordering 001 next month! This palette has quickly become a must have in my makeup collection.
