Recently Watched #3: New Netflix Originals

Over the last month or so I have watched a lot of Netflix! I finally got covid a couple of weeks ago and I'm telling you, covid brain is a very real thing. I'm still not quite back to normal and I haven't been able to concentrate on reading a lot so Netflix watching it is when I have the time. New Netflix OriginalsBridgerton Season Two

"During the Regency era in England, eight close-knit siblings of the powerful Bridgerton family attempt to find love."

I loved season one of Bridgerton and season two is even better. I was glued from the first minute until the end and I can't recommend this show enough if you love romance. This is slow burn perfection! I don't like the love triangle trope but I didn't mind it in this. Everything about this show works for me, it is a gorgeous show to watch, the cast and acting is incredible and the soundtrack is one of the best. Anthony and Kate forever <3

Taylor Tomlinson: Look At You

"The comic shares an intimate look at her struggles with mental health, grief and dating, from Wilbur Theater in Boston."

Taylor's new special is so damn funny that my face hurt after watching it. If you can't handle dead mum jokes, maybe don't watch this?

Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives.

"After marrying a mysterious man who claimed he could make her dog immortal, a vegan restaurateur finds her life veering off the rails."

I love most forms of true crime and this is a lighter watch. It's only a couple of episodes and if you know me you will know I am very passionate about learning about cults. What happened to Sarma because of her husband could have been a lot worse and honestly he could have been a cult leader if he took it on a bigger scale.

Inventing Anna

"A journalist investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary heiress who stole the hearts and money of New York elites."

A couple of years ago I followed the wild story of Anna Delvey and I did read Rachel's book previously as well. I loved this limited series, it is a fun watch. A lot of the story is true and if you watched Scandal (it is one of my favourite TV shows if you haven't, I highly recommend it), watching this is a fun experience as you can play spot the cast member!
