A couple of weeks ago it was my birthday (29!) and it's a tradition that I write this post every year! I really enjoy doing it mainly because my memory is so terrible and it's great for me to be able to look back on. I got some really lovely gifts this year!
So, fun fact about me, I haven't seen any movie. If it's iconic chances are I haven't seen it, I think IMDB had a list of the top 100 movies of all time and I had seen two of them. I only watched Pretty Woman for the first time a few months ago (I loved it). So my Mum got me a DVD player and a bunch of movies so I can finally watch them. In true Hannah fashion, it will still probably take me five more years to actually watch them. Encanto is in the photo but I have actually seen that one and I sing the soundtrack on a far too frequent basis!
While I don't watch movies, I do read an extremely high amount of books. For the last couple of years, I have read 200 books a year minimum. I got a Kindle Paperwhite and I am in love with the device. If you ever wanted the push to buy one, this is it. I have had a couple of the entry-level kindles over the last decade and this one is worth the price increase.
I didn't get too many beauty bits because I am always buying new products but I did get the Fenty Skin Lip Oil which I reviewed around the time it launched and I am so happy to have another! It's one of my favourite lip products. I have a lot of makeup and skincare but my perfume collection is pretty small so I knew I wanted a new fragrance. I smelt Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia and fell absolutely in love with it. I used to hate floral scents and now I can't get enough!
The final beauty item I got was actually my Dior birthday gold loyalty level gift. This was a free perk for spending a specific amount on Dior Beauty and it came with a Travel Perfume with stunning packaging and filled with 10ml of the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet scent as well as a gorgeous keychain mirror.
I got far too many Jellycats and let's just say I am in love. I got basically a whole Easter farm as well as the most adorable penguin and the croissant. They are the softest things ever and I need more! I also got a little bit of money which went straight into my Disneyland Paris fund and some gift cards which burned a hole in my pocket and I have already spent!
