Until last year, I was strictly a powder blush and highlight person because liquid and cream products always intimidated me. However, I finally decided to try some last summer and I have fallen I love, I honestly don't know why I was so scared to try them!

The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand is available in four shades (one is exclusive to CharlotteTilbury.com), I have the shade Pillow Talk Pink Pop. These blushes retail for £30 each and come with 12ml of product. The other three shades are Pillow Talk Peach Pop, Pillow Talk Dream Pop, and Pillow Talk.

This is an easy liquid blush that you apply one dot (or a few depending on your desired intensity) to the skin and blend on the apples of the cheeks. It has a smoothing-effect and soft focus finish. All four shades have been created to be universally flattering to lift and revive the look of every complexion. Even though this is a matte finish blush, it isn't flat at all on the skin like some matte products can be, it's brightening and lifting on the skin.

If you are new to liquid blushes I would recommend starting with these because it really is that easy to use. It takes seconds to blend! I really like the level of pigmentation it has as while you can build up the intensity, it isn't a product I have had to worry about applying too much with (like with the Rare Beauty liquid blushes). One of my favourite things is that I don't have to worry about applying this before powders, I do prefer to apply it after I have applied my foundation, before powders, but it still looks gorgeous on the skin with no issues if I do apply it after powders.

When I tell you this is by far the easiest blush to blend I have ever used, I am not exaggerating! It's easier to use than many of my powder blushes. I like to use one to three dots depending on how much blush I am wanting that morning. I use the Spectrum Collections A05 brush with basically all of my blushes but it does work incredibly well with this one. I have one of the original beauty blush wands and I do prefer this matte formula, I think I need the Pillow Talk shade in my life.

Even though this is a liquid blush, I don't feel the need to set it with powders, I will occasionally use a blush topper but it is extremely long-wearing on its own. It's extremely lightweight on the skin, I can't even feel it once it's been applied. I really can't say enough good things about this product.
