OPI Venice Collection Travel Exclusive

I am always excited by the OPI collections and the Venice collection is full of some gorgeous shades. I always prefer to get the mini sized nail polishes because I never use up a whole full sized bottle! The Venice collection has a great selection of light and darker shades with a metallic shade. This mini six piece collection is a travel exclusive so if you are going to be going through the airport definitely have a look in World Duty Free for this set.

Swatched: Tiramisu For Two, Amore at the Grand Hotel, Purple Palazzo Pants,  I Cannoli Wear OPI, Gelato On My Mind, Venice The Party.

The Venice Collection from OPI is the Fall/Winter 2015 collection which features 15 shades in total. This travel exclusive collection contains six mini sized bottles each with 3.75ml of nail polish. The mini sets on the high street from OPI normally have four shades but this set has six. In this set is two lighter shades, two cream darker/brighter shades and a metallic shade. Tiramisu For Two is a coffee cream, Amore at the Grand Hotel is a red creme, Purple Palazzo Pants is a gorgeous lilac, I Cannoli Wear OPI is a creamy pale grey, Gelato On My Mind is icy mint/light blue and Venice The Party is a stunning aquamarine shade.

Each of the nail polishes apply easily and smoothly to the nails, the lighter shades do need an extra coat to get the full colour that is in the bottle but all of the other shades only need two. You could definitely get away with just one coat with some of these nail polishes if you are in a hurry. Like all OPI nail polishes the formula is fantastic and applies without any streaks. They dry quickly because the polishes aren't too thick. I find most nail polishes don't last very long on my nails before they start chipping but with OPI, without base and top coat, I can get 3-4 days wear out of an application of two coats.

Because of the selection of shades this set could take you through Winter and into Spring. My favourite shades from this collection are Amore at the Grand Hotel, Gelato On My Mind and Venice The Party. Red nail polishes are my favourite for anytime of the year especially through the winter, I got tonnes of wear out of Amore at the Grand Hotel over Christmas and New Year. Big Apple Red had been my favourite for years but I have fallen in love with Amore at the Grand Hotel and I think it might be a new favourite. The Six Piece Mini Set is available at World Duty Free

  1. Phowar. Those colours. I love Gelato On My Mind and Venice The Party. I do sometimes find OPI chips so easily but these colours are still delightful! <3
