Can you believe two days from today it will be Christmas Eve?! Crazy. Its the time to get the festive nails done, I am one who likes to do them my self most of the time and I tend to keep it pretty simple. I love to wear glitter year round but especially at Christmas and these are the polishes that I have had on my nails for most of December and I know I will continue to wear them throughout the rest of the month. These glitters are perfect to be worn alone, as an accent nail or all over the nails.
Barry M's Christmas Tree Polish is a new one for this year and it has been on my nails so much since I got it back in October. It is full of green and red glitters with silver stars. You can really build up the coverage of this one and I normally apply three coats. I found this polish lasts forever on my nails so I think this might be the one I go for over Christmas because I know it is going to last. These nail polish is limited edition and retails for £3.99.
Revlon's Stunning Polish is one I have had in my collection for a while but totally forgot about. It is the perfect silver glitter that has two different sized glitters in which makes it different. With this polish you only really need one coat and your set. This one would be perfect for an accent nail, especially if you apply a couple of coats to the one nail. Revlon is on offer a lot in boots so keep an eye out for the deals! This nail polish retails for £6.49.
China Glaze De-light is a new one for me and I only got it recently but I really love it. It is a stunning gold glitter which looks multicoloured in different lights which you can kind of see in the swatch. I love to wear this over lighter nail polish shades and I love how it looks. I think I might wear this one over new years as it is a little less dramatic than the other glitters. I am not sure of any stockists of this polish as I got it in a Coloristiq box.
My final favourite glitter for the festive period is from Nails inc and it is in the shade Snowflake, I know since I have got this polish they have come out with different versions and repackaged it. This polish is full of white glitters to give the effect of snow which I love to wear in the winter time. There is also some tiny silver glitters. I have worn this over lots of different shades from light to dark and I love how it looks. This polish retails for £16.
Have you tried any of these nail polishes? What did you think?
