What I Bought Last Month #1

Instead of doing the odd small haul throughout the month, I thought I would start a new series of doing a collective haul of all the things that I picked up during the previous month. This way, I can talk about them in a little more detail as I would have been able to try them out and put them to the test. I had been feeling a little spendy in January, I blame my friend Kat for a fair few of these purchases!Beauty Haul 2017

The first things I knew I was going to have to pick up in January where the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette as well as one of the new Creamy Peach Oil Lip Glosses. I know that a lot of people have been disappointed with their glow palettes but I personally really loved mine and the pigmentation that it provides. The gloss has such a great formula and smells incredible, it is a very creamy gloss and due to the oils in it, it is also hydrating on the lips. Another lip product that I picked up this month and have also been impressed with is the Maybelline Baby Lips Crayons. I picked up two of the shades but my sister quickly stole one. These are incredibly pigmented and so easy to apply. The shade range is very bold so it is great for a statement lip and I know I will use these a tonne in the summer months.

I was on a bit of a foundation kick last month as when I was going through my collection I realised I only owned two or three and I only ever wore the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. Thanks to a heads up on Twitter, I picked up the L'Oreal Pro Glow and Pro Matte US Foundations from eBay for around £13 each. I have been loving these foundations and have been liking the finish and results from each one. But, the Pro Glow is the winner out of the two and blows the Pro Matte out of the water! It has incredible coverage and a gorgeous natural finish with a glow that looks like it is coming from within, I highly recommend this foundation if you can get your hands on it. The Pro Matte is a great foundation but the Pro Glow does have slightly better coverage while both are very long lasting on the skin.

I have been dying to get my hands on the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream for months and months and ever since I discovered Olivia Jade's YouTube Channel I have wanted it even more as she is always raving about it. When I found out that QVC was finally going to start stocking it, I knew I had to get it and then the TSV was announced and it was too good of a deal to pass up. The TSV itself was around £45 which included three full sized products and a brush, if I was to buy all of the products individually it would have cost me over £100! The CC Cream alone on QVC is £30 so it made sense to get the TSV which included:

- The CC+ Cream SPF 50
- Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer
- Pressed Version of Bye Bye Pores Powder
- Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush

And then I was feeling even more spendy and made a little Dior and Burberry purchase. I am a huge fan of the Dior Lip Glow Balms and even I spotted the new limited edition Berry shade I knew I had to have it. I decided to order from the Dior.com website for the first time as it offers free delivery and gift wrapping on every order. While delivery is a little slow as it ships out from France, it came beautifully wrapped and I will be ordering from the site again! My lovely friend Kat always raves about Burberry beauty products so I decided to treat myself to once of their nail polishes in the shade Nude Pink and so far I have been really impressed with it. Just like Dior, Burberry offers free delivery and gift wrapping, if you order before 7pm it is next day delivery too!

What have you treated yourself to lately?
