I have been loving facial oils recently and I wish I had tried them sooner! My skin isn't too dry at the moment but I know in the Winter I will be using oils even more as part of my skin care routine! This has actually replaced my moisturiser in my evening routine as it works so much better for my skin and I can always see results each time I use it.
The Pixi Rose Oil Blend is suitable for all skin types, I have combination skin and it has been working brilliantly for me personally. One thing I really love about Pixi as a brand is that they don't test on animals, I have made it my mission this year to go as cruelty-free as possible so this is a huge bonus about the product. Pixi does offer a few different oils but this one has a botanical blend, infused with a powerful complex of youth-preserving oils to help improve the skin's elasticity and glow. It will leave the skin comforted and smooth to the touch and is also paraben free. It also has a few different nourishing ingredients such as:
- Sweet almond
- Rosehip
- Jojoba
- Pomegranate seed
- Rose geranium oils
One of the main reasons why it took me so long to try oils is because I thought they were going to leave my skin feeling greasy but I couldn't have been more wrong, especially with this one. It sinks into the skin quickly, within a few minutes to leave the skin feeling instantly hydrated. This can be used both morning and night but at the moment, I have only been using it as part of my evening routine. It is recommended to use two/three drops onto cleansed and toned skin. For extra hydration and glow, you can add one or two drops to your moisturiser before applying to the skin.
My skin has been suffering from a few dehydrated patches so oils are my best friend to rehydrate the skin and this one is my new favourite. It keeps the skin so hydrated without being greasy or feeling like there is an uncomfortable residue layer on the skin. I haven't noticed it to effect my acne either, sometimes with oils they can make it worse but my skin is looking better than ever! My skin can be a little uncomfortable after cleansing and toning occasionally but this oil instantly soothes the skin. It has a lovely rose scent too, I am not the biggest floral scent but there is something about this that I really like. I have definitely noticed my skin to look more glowy than usual, I have quite dull skin so this is a massive bonus!
