The Best Makeup Removers

I am obsessed with skincare and one of my favourite products to test out is makeup remover. I am always on the hunt for bigger and better makeup removers but these four are the best of the best and ones I have or will repurchase. Each one is completely different and whether you're after a cleansing water, or an oil - I have something for you.
One skincare product that has been massively hyped for years is the Bioderma Sensibio H20. This is a hypoallergenic, fragrance, alcohol and paraben free makeup removing water and I completely understand the hype. It has been developed specifically for sensitive skin and will effectively remove dirt and makeup from the face and eye area. It's honestly one of the best micellar waters, if not the best one, that I have ever used. It can remove any amount of makeup with ease and it doesn't irritate the skin or eyes in the slightest. It's soothing on the skin and it doesn't leave behind an uncomfortable residue like some micellar waters will do. Whether you wear a little makeup or stage makeup, this product will remove it!

I'm obsessed with hot cloth cleansers and my favourite one from the high street is the Superdrug Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser. This is suitable for vegans and is cruelty-free. It comes with a muslin cloth so you don't need to buy anything extra to be able to use this. It's very effective at removing traces of makeup and I like to use this when my skin needs something gentle but hydrating as this is rich in natural Vitamin E which my skin loves. As you remove it with a muslin cloth it will also help gently exfoliate the skin to make it even softer. My skin always feels super clean after I use this but comforted too. It's really great value for money as the tube you get is massive and it's often on offer at Superdrug as well.

For when I want an oil-based cleanser, I always like to use the Palmer's Ultra Gentle Cleansing Oil. I'm a huge fan of the Palmer's skincare range and this is extremely nourishing on the skin. It's been infused with eight pure oils and will deeply cleanse the skin while leaving it feeling soft and cleansed. It's suitable for all skin types and melts away makeup like no other. This breaks down makeup within seconds and this what I mainly like to use in the Winter as it does nourish the skin so much. Even though it is oil-based, I don't find it to make the skin feel oily afterwards in the slightest.

My final favourite is my most recent beauty obsession and I loved it so much that I am just about to finish it already! I have been using the Pixi Double Cleanse pretty much every single day since I got my hands on it and I need to buy another asap. This is a two-step product, you use the solid oil to remove dirt, grime and makeup and the luxe cleansing cream to actually cleanse the skin. This is fantastic at removing makeup, Caroline Hirons knew exactly what she was doing when she created this with Pixi! This is so quick to use as part of my evening skincare routine and I love that I don't have to fuss around finding something to cleanse after removing my makeup as it's already in the pot waiting. Both sides of the product are comforting on the skin and I have definitely noticed that my skin has been looking much healthier since I started using this.
