Tarte is one of my top three makeup brands. I love that they not only have fantastic quality products but that they are also cruelty-free with many of their products also being vegan. I thought I would share my five absolute favourites from Tarte and a few of them aren't talked about as much as they should be! I'm dying to try some of the new releases so hopefully, I can get my hands on them soon.
Of course, I had to include the Shape Tape Concealer, this stuff is 1000% worth all of the hype that it gets! This is one of the best full coverage concealers I have ever used and I love that it doesn't look thick or feel heavy on the skin. I have just finished my tube and I'm waiting until I finish a few of my other concealers but I order a few one but there aren't any concealers that even come close to this one! This retails for around £22 depending on where you purchase it from and I do find that it lasts for ages as you really don't need a lot, mine lasted me 12 months of almost every day use. I also have one of the Shape Tape foundations and I do really rate it.
A year or so ago I ordered the QVC Maneater TSV and I'm so glad I did because I have fallen in love with almost all of the products that were included. The first is the Maneater Eyeshadow Palette, I have the first version of this but Vol.2 does look the same just with a very slight change. This palette is usually all I take when I go away because I can create a few different looks with it and the quality of the shadows is unreal. Even if I'm not using this palette for a complete look I always use the highlight shade without fail, I have hit pan on it already! You get mostly matte shades in this one but they are all super soft and easy to blend. This palette smells incredible too.
Another Maneater favourite of mine is the Maneater Mascara, I could rave and rave about this product! I absolutely adore it and I'm already onto my fourth tube of it - I never usually repurchase mascaras usually. If you are wanting to try this then I would definitely recommend getting it from QVC UK as one tube alone retails for £21 on the Tarte website but you can get two full-size tubes for around £28 from QVC. This makes my lashes so long that they touch my brows and I often get asked if I'm wearing fake lashes whenever I use this! It doesn't make the lashes look clumpy or flake throughout the day.
My favourite foundation from Tarte is the Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Full Coverage Foundation. This is a high coverage foundation that doesn't look like you are caked in foundation or feel heavy on the skin. I prefer to use a brush to apply this and it always looks flawless! Even though it claims it only lasts for 12 hours I would have to say that it always lasts for so much longer than that on my combination skin. It does have a matte finish but it doesn't look dry on the skin.
My final favourite from the brand is the Lip Rescue Quench. I actually had six of these at one point but I'm down to four now. These are one of my absolute favourite lip products and I always have at least one in my handbag. These are very sheer lip balms that feel like water on the lips and as I don't usually go for bold lips these are perfect for me. They are incredibly hydrating and I can't say enough good things about them. Trust me, you need to try them!
