Lottie London Eye Foils Review & Swatches

As soon as I spotted these online, I knew I had to have them! I haven't tried much from Lottie London but having tried these, I can't wait to try more from the brand soon. If you love the Glossier Lidstars or the Pixi Fairy Lights...you will fall in love with these.

Swatched: (top) Savage, (bottom) Faded.

The Lottie London Eye Foils are described as an iridescent eyeshadow topper that will transform your peepers. They are very affordable at £4.95 each and some stockists always have free delivery and discount codes available so you can get them even cheaper. The eye foils are available in four different shades, I have two of them to talk about today, (I hope they extend the shade range soon) and they are vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, gluten-free and paraben free.

If you like an eyeshadow product that you apply and blend then head out the door, these are for you. The four shades feature a range of iridescent duo-chrome shimmer that can be applied over any eye look for a foiled finish in a flash. I personally like to wear these alone and while Savage is slightly sheer, it still looks stunning. They feature a cushioned, soft wand applicator that I will use to apply product directly to the lids then I will use my fingers or a fluffy brush to blend. You can definitely use these with any of your favourite eyeshadow palettes if you wanted too.

The first of the two shades I have is Savage which is a duo-chrome lilac to gold flip and Faded is a rose gold shade with a silver shimmer running through. Faded doesn't have as a strong duo-chrome flip that Savage does. These are what I was expecting the Glossier Lidstars to be, a sheer wash of colour with an intense flip or shimmer running through them. But when compared to the Lidstars they are just a turned up version and I love them both! Faded is definitely more pigmented and reminds me more of the Pixi Fairy Lights. I really want to get my hands on the Denied shade next which looks like its as dark silver glitter which would be perfect for the festive season.

When in direct sunlight, Savage looks incredible and bright whereas Faded looks good at all times. I have found myself using Faded with eyeshadows in the crease but I always use Savage alone with some winged liner. These are a liquid based product but they do dry down without being drying on the lids, they are incredibly long-lasting. The shimmer running through them doesn't fall out onto the cheeks and both shades don't crease or fade throughout the day. They both blend so easily with my fingers or a brush and you can definitely build up the pigmentation if you want too.

I honestly can't recommend these enough! If you love sparkly eyes and liquid based products, you have to try these! The Lottie London Eye Foils retail for £4.95 - HERE.
