During my years of blogging, I have been lucky enough to receive a lot of makeup and beauty products to test out which has resulted in me falling in love with brands I would have never tried on my own. I thought I would share a few of the products that I have fallen in love with that were originally sent to me but that I have ended up purchasing myself.
The La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + is one fantastic skincare product and if you have acne prone skin and you haven't tried this yet then I highly recommend! I was sent this back in 2014 and it was actually one of the first things I received in PR so if I'm still using it four years on, you know it's the real deal! I have tried so many different acne treatments and this is honestly one of the best products I have ever used and I have lost count of how many tubes I have gone through of this stuff. I'm about to start using this again as my acne has gotten bad again and this is one of the few products I trust will sort out my skin.
In February of last year, I literally squealed in excitement when I received a Too Faced PR package and one of the products included was the Chocolate Bar Palette. While I haven't repurchased that specific palette, I do use it a tonne though, it did spark my obsession with Too Faced palettes. Since I got my hands on that palette, I have bought myself the Sweet Peach, Semi-Sweet and the Mini Matte Chocolate Bar Palette. All of the palettes from the brand have great pigmentation and are blendable, I love that almost all of the palettes from Too Faced are scented!
Essence is one of my favourite affordable brands and one of the best products I have tried in a few years is the Lash Princess Mascara. I have recommended this to so many people and they have all fallen in love with it because it is such a good product! It's one of the best mascaras I have tried as it makes the lashes almost look fake, it adds so much length and thickness without leaving the lashes looking clumpy. I can't believe that this is only around £3 - it is such a steal! Next time you are in Wilko, you need to check out the Essence stand.
I have terrible brows and the one product I swear by is the Eylure Brow Pomade, it's the best brow product I have ever used so I hope they never discontinue it! I have been using this every single time I wear makeup for the last two years and I don't have a single fault. It applies well and even though it is on the slightly creamy side, it does not budge throughout the day. I have worn this in all weathers from freezing cold with snow to 40 degrees in Spain and it honestly does not move!
The next product that I received in PR that I have repurchased is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This is a holy grail product for me and I always notice such a difference with I use this and when I don't which is how I know that this stuff really does work. It makes my makeup last so much longer throughout the day and I always find myself buying the travel sizes as they are much more affordable but they still last a long time.
