Winter Makeup Staples

Every season, I like to change up what products I'm using. Even though I have a bigger than average makeup collection, I keep a selection of products in my makeup bag to use every day and if I don't switch it up every now and again, I'm always using the same things.
Winter Makeup Staples
The only product that has stayed the same since my Autumn Makeup Staples post is my foundation. I have been using a different one for the last two weeks or so but I'm back to using the YSL All Hours Foundation once again. I do really love this stuff and the tiniest amount goes a long way. It has such incredible coverage and it's extremely long-wearing. I've started using the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer again too and I seriously adore this stuff. Just like the YSL foundation, it has incredible coverage and lasts well throughout the day. It never looks heavy or cakey on the skin.

Seeing as it's Winter, I have to use my Huda Beauty Winter Solstice Highlighting Palette! I did a review and swatch this a while back (you can check that out here). This palette has some fun highlighting shades in that are actually quite wearable on my skin tone. I have been using this palette a lot in the last couple of months and I will be continuing to use it into the New Year. The palette I have switched to for this season is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. This is an all-time favourite of mine and the formulation of these shadows is one of the best. Not to mention, this palette smells absolutely delicious too! I recently rediscovered the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liners and I forgot how good these are. I have been using mine along the lower lash line and on top of black winged liner too.

For the lips, I have decided to go a little bolder this month. The first of the two products I have pulled out to use is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Gloss in Unleash Me which is a very dark plum shade. I love these types of colours on me against my skin tone and hair colour. The other is the NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Burning Love. These are really comfortable to year and this is a gorgeous pop of pink.
