Lavera Lipsticks - Brilliant Care with Q10

I love lip products but I'm actually pretty fussy with what I like. I can't stand anything slightly uncomfortable or drying and I'm always on the hunt for something I can keep in my handbag to touch up with throughout the day. I haven't tried anything from Lavera before but these lipsticks have me very excited about the brand.

Swatched: Light Hazel, Strawberry Pink and Red Cherry.

The Lavera Brilliant Care Lipsticks with Q10 are one of the latest launches from the brand and  they launched back in December. There are four shades to choose from and all of them are cruelty-free, certified natural and are also free from parabens, phthalates, parraffinuim and petrochemicals. These lipsticks to me are a blend of makeup and skincare and I can't get enough of them. The four shades available are:

- Light Hazel: my perfect nude
- Red Cherry: an energetic red
- Strawberry Pink: a rich pink
- Oriental Rose: a darker pink

I'm a real fan of the packaging, I love the silver reflective sleek tubes that the lipsticks are housed in. The bullets of the lipsticks are a great size, making them easy to swipe onto the lips and head out the door. I have tried so many different lipstick formulations and this one is a new favourite of mine and I find myself reaching for these the most recently. Each of the lipsticks contains a blend of moisturising natural ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera. They also contain Q10 which is mainly used in skincare and is a well-known anti-ageing ingredient.

All three of the lipsticks are extremely comfortable on the lips and feel like a slightly thicker balm than a traditional lipstick which I love. They all have fantastic colour pay off with a slight sheen on the lips. They last well but as they aren't a matte or long-wear liquid lipstick, you do need to reapply after eating but I don't mind that at all. I love that these have hydrating benefits as my lips are so dry especially during the winter. I don't usually like nude shades but Light Hazel is my favourite shade out of the three that I have, I think I have finally found a nude lipstick for me!

These lipsticks retail for £12.90 each and are available in Whole Food Stores and online on the Lavera website.
