How My Skin Has Changed in the Last Year

Today I turn 25 (hooray for being halfway to 50) and while I have noticed that I have a few grey hairs already, I have noticed a massive difference in my skin within the last year. The ageing process is real and I'm not too sure how I feel about it.
From around March 2018 until now, I have noticed my skin change and getting a new routine has been so beneficial for it. I recently posted about my current skincare routine (you can check that out here) and I'm trying out a few different serums and acids to enhance it that I will post about soon. In some ways, I like the changes I have seen in my skin but in a few ways, I'm really not a fan but I suppose I will grow to tolerate it...it's not like I have much of a choice!

One of the first things I noticed the change was the texture of my skin and my actual skin type. Ever since I was a teenager, I have had acne prone, combination skin but it has gotten so much drier. I have had to try out a few different moisturisers, one of which I had a really bad reaction to which didn't help. I also started using Hylaronic Acid which has been a game changer! The texture of my skin has completely changed as well, I don't even fully know how to explain it. The appearance of my skin texture is just not as smooth as it once was. My pores are much more visible too, thank goodness for the Milk Makeup Blur Stick!

My acne has been almost non-exist in the last year, I've had a few flare-ups around my time of the month and I've only had a few cystic acne breakouts too and I can't tell you how happy that makes me as they are SO painful. The biggest I have changed in my skin is the most obvious, wrinkles! Fine lines are now a thing that I'm dealing with and I don't actually mind them, I always knew that I would end up with them on my forehead because I'm quite expressive with my face, most of the time without being able to control it. My forehead is the worst, I must move my brows a tonne. My smile lines have gotten slightly deeper but the one area I haven't seen any change with is my eyes.

Have you noticed your skin change at all?
