I have always carried smaller handbags, I love a crossbody bag. So the items I carry around have to be kept to a minimum. These are the products that I will never leave the house without and are absolute must-haves.
I am a big fan of beautyblender but one of the products that doesn't get talked about nearly as much as it should is the blotterazzi*. I have had mine for a couple of years now and if I can only take one beauty item in my bag, it's always this! Inside the teardrop-shaped compact are two sponges and a mirror that are so handy for on the go. You use these to blot away any excess oil and I use mine every day without fail. They're great to use to correct any makeup mishaps as well.
I always have a few lip products floating around in my pockets and handbag but my current picks are the Glossier Balm Dotcom and the Tarte Lip Quench in Berry. I adore the Tarte Lip Quenches and I have gone through five of them now so I need to order a few more. I love sheer lip colours and have never been one for a bold lip so these are perfect for me. Both products are incredibly hydrating and if needed I can use Balm Dotcom on my cuticles as well.
Having acne prone skin usually means that a new spot will pop up at some point throughout the day so I like to have a full coverage concealer on hand just in case. The IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer* is one of my top three favourites and works brilliantly for a few different uses. While I have been using this under the eyes every day for the last couple of weeks, I can't recommend it enough for blemishes and discolouration. It can cover anything and everything.
The final makeup product I keep in my handbag is mascara and currently, I'm obsessed with the Milk Makeup KUSH Mascara*. I always like to keep mascara on hand because long lashes are my favourite part of my makeup and I always like to refresh them throughout the day.
