Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel Review

The Emma Hardie cleansing balm is one of my all-time favourite skincare products so when I heard they were coming out with a lighter gel-cleanser version, I couldn't wait to test it out. If you have oilier skin and didn't get on with the balm, this is for you.
Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel Review
The Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel is a lightweight daily cleanser that is suitable for all skin types, no matter your age. It will help to purify the skin while balancing oily skin and hydrating and moisturising as it cleanses. It will also protect the skin from environmental damage and contains Moringa and Sweet Almond Oil to nourish the skin. Omega 6 and Vitamin E from Greapseed Oil are also ingredients as well as essential fatty acids that will moisturise, smooth and soften the skin. The Sea Fennel Extract will improve the barrier function of the skin and restores the water balance whileMoringaa Seed Peptides will protect the skin from pollution and purifies the skin for a radiant yet healthy glow.

You can use this product in your morning or evening skincare routines, I personally prefer to use it in my evening skincare routine and you can use it as a second step cleanse after using your cleansing balm. I like to apply it to dry skin to break down traces of makeup before using another cleanser to make sure everything is removed ready for the rest of my skincare routine. It's recommended that you use 2-3 pumps, I personally use a little more than that as my makeup isn't so light and natural most days. You can use it on wet or dry skin and adding water to it will emulsify the cleansing gel before rinsing.

I love this product! I love how much lighter it is on the skin than the cleansing balm but it still removes makeup effortlessly. It leaves the skin feeling comforted and hydrated without feeling greasy or oily. I have combination skin and this works wonderfully for me and it has a gorgeous light scent. Even though I mainly use it in my evening skincare routine, I have used it a couple of times to cleanse in the morning and I do like it for that use because it is quite refreshing too. I really like the packaging, its luxe and I do prefer that it is easier to apply, thanks to the pump than the cleansing balm where you would have to scoop a little out.

Emma Hardie is a cruelty-free skincare brand and this product is also Vegan. It retails for £34 - HERE
