Years ago, I was obsessed with the MUA brand but I hadn't tried anything ut in a while and I have been incredibly impressed! I have found a new favourite foundation and I can't stop raving about it - I can't believe that it is only £5! It's such a bargain.
MUA Pro-Base Foundation & Concealer Review
The Pro Base collection from MUA includes concealers, foundations, primers and setting powders. I have a couple of the Pro Base products that I have been trying out for the last couple of weeks but I am going to sharing my thoughts on the foundation and concealer today. I haven't tried a high street foundation or concealer in ages but now I can't get enough of these. I know I will be needing to get backups of these because I am such a huge fan.

The Pro Base Long Wear Matte Finish Foundation (£5) is available in 24 shades which I think is great for a high street brand. I have been using the shade #104 and it's perfect for my skin tone at the moment but once I spend a little time in the sun in the next couple of months I will definitely need a darker shade. This foundation is free from parabens and has been formulated with Vitamin E and claims to blend easily and will last all day long with a matte finish, full coverage and shine control. The Pro Base Full Coverage Concealer (£2.50) is also available in 24 shades and claims to be a lightweight concealer that offers buildable coverage for imperfections with a smooth flawless finish. It's said to have a creamy texture that's crease-proof and long wearing. I have been wearing the shade #102 in the concealer.

I adore both of these products and I think they are 100% worth the money! The concealer is what I have been using under the eyes to brighten and conceal and it has been doing a fantastic job! It isn't at all heavy on the skin and is so easy to blend. As long as I set it with some loose powder, it doesn't crease at all throughout the day. This has more of a medium coverage that I wasn't expecting to like but it's perfect for under the eyes. The foundation is insanely good, I really wasn't expecting it to be this good if I'm honest and I have been reaching for it over all of my high-end base products. The coverage really is full like it claims but it doesn't leave the skin looking cakey or heavy. Even though it has a matte finish, it does look a little more natural which I'm a huge fan of. It doesn't settle into the pores or any lines throughout the day and it is extremely long-wearing. It lasts all day and night on my skin and I love how it looks on the skin. If you buy one product this month, make it this foundation.
