I have previously tried two foundations from Tarte and I really liked them both but this might just be my new favourite! Tarte has been one of my favourite makeup brands for the last couple of years and I'm always recommending their products to everyone. Shape Tape is truly life-changing.

Tarte Foundcealer Multi-tasking Foundation Review
The Babassu Foundcealer is a vegan, skincare foundation, that's also cruelty-free like all of the products from the brand! This foundation is said to be a makeup and skincare hybrid that will deliver an ultra-comfortable, naturally radiant finish to the skin as well as a medium yet customizable coverage. It will also help to hydrate the skin while giving the appearance a look of plumper skin will minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It has been formulated with nourishing babassu, essential fatty acids and antioxidants and as always with Tarte products, they have been formulated without any mineral oil, parabens, gluten amongst others!

I love the packaging of this foundation, I love that you can see how much product is left in the tube, it's great to know when your running low. And I love that it has a pump as I never have to worry about wasting any product and it actually twists into the packaging so it's mess-free! I adore the detailing around the top of the bottle and I always love the purple accents. This foundation is available in 30 shades, I have two shades that I have been testing out and 13N is the perfect shade for my skin tone. I have never had a foundation match as well as this one.

I have been using a damp sponge to apply this foundation every day for the last couple of weeks and I love the coverage and finish it provides. I would say it's a higher medium coverage that is what I love the most as I still like my face to look a little natural while covering any of my skin issues. I have used two different sponges and it works brilliantly with both. Depending on the coverage you are after, will depend on how you apply it. For light coverage, they recommend that you use your fingertips, for light-to-medium coverage, a sponge is recommended and for medium coverage then you can use a brush.

I adore this foundation and I can't get enough of it! It is the perfect everyday foundation but you can also build up the coverage if needed so you can wear it for any occasion. As I mentioned, it has medium coverage that still covers my acne and discolouration well and I love the finish. It does have a natural finish and I love how comfortable it is on the skin, it is weightless! It's long-wearing too, I apply my makeup at 6am throughout the week and it will hold up on the skin for over 12 hours, if not longer. It's great to use on the go for touch-ups and it never gives me cake face! It doesn't oxidise on the skin and one of my favourite things about this foundation is that it doesn't settle into the pores or any fine lines. One of my main issues with almost every foundation I use is that it will settle into my smile lines but this one is one of the rare ones that rarely does!
