I was so excited to pick out these products this month, the selection is so good that I had trouble sticking to just six things. But that's the great thing about Latest in Beauty, you can pick more items if you want to. I have lost count of how many times I have said this but Latest in Beauty is by far the best beauty box service and the one I always recommend as you do get to pick the products you would like to try.

Latest in Beauty Build Your Own Box - August 2019
The life's a beach edit for August features some great products to choose from with so many full-size products! I usually try and get as many full-sizes to make the boxes even better value for money but I was so excited by a few of the sample/travel sizes this time around that I had to have them in my box. Latest in Beauty do add new products every day to choose from and I managed to get one of the 'star products' as well as the 'hall of fame' product for the month.

This month, I picked a few makeup products whereas last month I went for more skincare and body care. The first product I picked was the 'hall of fame' product for August that is the Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner and I think it's a full-size product! I love liquid liner, I wear winged liner almost every day so I am always looking for the next best liner. This liner claims to be waterproof, lash-enhancing and carbon black. Next, I added the Buxom Big Tease Mascara to my box, this is a sample size but these mascara sizes always last for ages! Just like liners, I love trying mascara. The Tarte Maneater Mascara has been my holy grail mascara for years now but I'm interested in trying anything that might knock it off the top spot.

The LMX Off Duty Lashes looked gorgeous and I love to have a few pairs of lashes in my stash. I love Little Mix and I have heard good things about their products so I can't wait to see how these look and feel on the lash line. The final makeup related product I got was the Unicorn Cosmetics Pro Angled Brush. It's full-sized and vegan. I have heard amazing things about this brand so I was so excited to see you could get one of the brushes this month! It is gorgeous and super soft.

I am always in need of shampoo's to wash my makeup brushes and sponges, I usually use anything I have in the bathroom but I thought I would give the Spongeclean by Basic Beauty Tools a try. This is a cleanser specifically for makeup sponges and mine are in desperate need of a clean. And the final product I picked out was the Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair. I used a product from this range in my teens and I was obsessed with it and I am hoping this might be just it! The size included (25ml) actually retails for £9 on their website.
