The Five Best Books I Read in 2019

I have read the most books I have EVER read this year at over 200! I can't believe how many I managed to read and I'm not too sure how I managed it. These books are the best of the best and I cannot recommend them enough, I hope you love them as much as I do.
The Simple Wild - K.A Tucker

I can't stop thinking about this book and I read it months ago. This is one of the few books that has stuck with me and I will be rereading it next week to prep for the sequel in March! This is a romance set in Alaska and parts of it are heartbreaking, I actually sobbed and I rarely cry at books. I adore Calla and Jonah.

Life Will Be The Death of Me - Chelsea Handler

I have been a fan of Chelsea Handler for years and this book made me love her more but also made me learn a lot about myself too. I listened to this on audiobook and I can't recommend it enough, she actually reads the book and it's great to be able to hear her emotions through each chapter.

Red, White and Royal Blue - Casey McQuiston

I cannot believe this is a debut novel, how is this even possible?! I adored this book and if you read one book in this post, make it this. I have done a full review here (it's spoiler-free) if you want to know more about it. But this is a queer romance with great representation and a little bit of politics thrown in too.

The Flatshare - Beth O'Leary

This book took me a while to get into and get used to the writing style but once I did, I fell in love with it. I don't usually like books set in England, very strange considering I live here, but I am obsessed with this. The paperback is set to be released in January so now is the time to preorder! You can read my full review of this here

All R.S Grey Books

I am technically cheating but I had to include my favourite author and there was no way I could pick just one book! Rachel is the queen of rom-coms and I don't even need a blurb of her books as I will auto buy whatever she releases. I found her books at the end of last year but this year I have read almost all of them. I only have 4 left that I haven't read and I am saving them for a rainy day. I have given five stars to all but one I have read but I think it was more of a me problem than a book problem so I need to reread it. My title recommendations are Arrogant Devil, His Royal Highness, Hotshot Doc and Coldhearted Boss.

What are your favourite books?
