My Christmas Makeup Must Haves

When it comes to the festive season, I need all of the long-wearing products! I am always so busy throughout December while also getting up at 4am during the week for work and these are the products I have been grabbing so far this month.
For base products, I use some of the best products. For foundation, if I want it to last all day and night long, then it's always the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Foundation. This is one of my favourites I have used in the last couple of years as I love the finish and coverage it provides. For concealer, I will never use anything other than my trusty Tarte Shape Tape. This is probably the best makeup product I have ever purchased and I can't recommend it enough. It has insane coverage, is so long-lasting and never looks cakey on the skin. To lock everything in place, I always go with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I haven't found one that I like more than this one yet!

At Christmas, it would be rude not to use a little glitter! For glitter on the eyes, I have been going with the Stila liquid eyeshadows, I have the glitter and glow's as well as the shimmer and glow versions. These are great liquid eyeshadows as they have fantastic pigmentation and are easy to apply and blend. The palette I have been reaching for the most lately has been my Mini Controversy, you can see my review with swatches here. I don't typically like a lot of colour on the eyes but I can't get enough of this. For glitter on the lips, the INC.redible Gloss in Holo Boys! is insane! This is a clear gloss with chunkier holo glitters in it and it looks so good on the lips! Just make sure you don't end up eating it though.

Another lip product I have been reaching for lately is the Smashbox Always On Metallic Matte Liquid Lipstick in Maneater. I have never been a fan of red lips on myself but I can't stop wearing this one. It has the most gorgeous finish to it, I only have the mini size but I will definitely be getting a full size at some point! If I don't fancy a matte lip, I have been using my Jeffree Star Cosmetics The Gloss in Sequin Glass. This adds a light wash of colour to the lips and a tonne of sparkle and shine!
