The Lip Glosses You Need in 2020

While everybody was obsessing over liquid lips, I just could not stray from lip glosses. Glosses are mainly the only lip product I wear besides lip balms as I rarely wear lipstick unless it's a sheer formula. I thought I would share some of the best lip glosses today as glossy lips, and glossy makeup in general, are a big beauty trend this year.

For a clear gloss, the Glossier Lip Gloss is my favourite. Glossier does also have holo and red versions to give the lips a slight hint of colour or added sparkle. This gloss is perfect to pair with any of your favourite lipsticks or tinted products but it looks great alone too which is typically how I wear it. It gives the lips a natural-looking glossiness and it's surprisingly quite comforting on the lips.

The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb's are incredible if you are looking for a gloss that will leave the lips looking juicy. Tati (GlamLifeGuru) got me obsessed with these glosses and they are worth the £17 price tag. Fenty Beauty has a few different colour options, I have Fu$$y which is the one Tati loves as well as the original. These glosses aren't that long-lasting on the lips but I love the colour, gloss and sheen they give the lips. They smell great and I love the way they feel on the lips, they aren't sticky in the slightest.

For a long-lasting gloss, The Gloss from Jeffree Star Cosmetics is the one. I have the shade Sequin Glass and I will definitely be getting a few more shades as well as Shane Glossin' this year. I have a full review up on this gloss which you can check out here. This gloss is comfortable on the lips and it's the most long-wearing gloss I have used in years. Sequin Glass looks great alone on the lips but it also looks stunning over a pinky-nude lipstick and I love the sheen these give the lips!

All of the products in this post are cruelty-free.
