I Heart Revolution x Elf Smiling's My Favourite Lip Duo Review

I haven't purchased anything from any of the Makeup Revolution brands in a couple of years and this collaboration sucked me back in. Elf is one of the most iconic Christmas movies and this collection is so much fun that I had to pick up at least one thing. The I Heart Revolution x Elf Smiling's My Favourite Lip Balm & Scrub Duo retails for £6.  This set comes with a lip balm and scrub as it says in the title of the product and each of the product comes in a pastel metallic green rube with 'Smiling's My Favourite' on the inside which is revealed when you remove the cap. These are incredibly sweet scented with a yummy vanilla scented scrub and icing sugar lip balm. Even though they are super sweet, I don't find them to be sickly which is impressive. 

When I first opened these, I noticed how similar looking the actual balm and scrub look to Dior's, the moulds used must be extremely similar! The balm adds a very sheer wash of colour to the lips and the scrub also leaves behind some colour on the lips. 

I really like this duo. The balm gives the lips long lasting hydrating and is extremely comfortable to wear. The scrub is effective without being harsh and the combination of both products will have your lips soft and smooth all winter long. I love the box that they come in, they would make a great stocking filler this Christmas too!
