YSL Lash Clash Mascara Review

Mascaras and lip products are my favourite makeup products to try out. So whenever there is a new mascara on the market, I am always dying to try it out so I was excited when the YSL Lash Clash arrived! I have been testing this out for a couple of weeks now and I love the effect it has on my lashes. YSL Lash Clash Mascara ReviewYSL Lash Clash Mascara ReviewThe YSL Lash Clash Mascara retails for £29 and is going to add up to 200% more volume to your lashes in an instant. It is YSL's biggest mascara brush to build oversized, volumised lashes that last up to 24 hours. Don't let the claim that the brush is huge scare you, it's not the biggest one I have ever used and I find it easy to use even considering it's size.

It features an oil-in-water wax formula and combined with super black pigmented and smudge, resistant boosters, this mascara has a thick yet creamy formula. It's YSL's thickest mascara formula and is easy to build, layer after layer. It's fragrance free and enriched with Iris Forentina extract. Something I really love about the campaign is that they aren't doing any editing touchups to the lashes and there are said to be no lash inserts used. I have to say, my lashes look almost identical to the promo photos (specifically the middle and third before and after photos from the YSL website).

I really like this mascara and the way it leaves my lashes looking. If you have naturally longer lashes, you will love this as it doesn't add a tonne of length but it does add enough to make a difference. The volume that this adds to the lashes is insane and unlike any mascara I have tried out in a while. It also curls and holds the curl all day and night long. I usually apply my makeup at around 5am during the week and it does not budge all day and night long. Even at 9pm it looks freshly applied. I love that it doesn't smudge or flake throughout the day as I have always had an issue with that. It has a fantastic buildable formula, I love to wear a lot of mascara and this builds brilliantly without ever getting clumpy. All of the claims YSL makes about this mascara with performance, I agree with!
