Ways You Use Artificial Intelligence Daily

Something you might not know about me is that I absolutely love technology. I am fascinated by it and have been since I was a young teenager, at fifteen I started getting into computer coding during my GCSE's, and the rest was history. Today's post is talking all about AI and the ways you might not even realise you are using it on a daily basis.

Artificial Intelligence, known as AI, sounds pretty terrifying but you probably don't know how often you use it and how it benefits you. Having access to this kind of technology can be a game changer, technology is so advanced these days that it's extremely impressive and it's only going to get better and go further! Artificial Intelligence is one of the reasons why have self-driving cars. The things Meta are working on right now for example sound very intriguing.

Artificial Intelligence is the theory and development of computer services that are able to complete tasks that normally require human intelligence, like visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between different languages. On a basic level, I like AI as it can be a time-saving and solution-solving piece of technology.

If you are an iPhone user, you may not even realise that Face ID is using AI with a combination of biometrics which also is used for the Animoji's which are always fun to use!  Face ID unlocks your device using AI and Apple states the chance of fooling your Face ID is one in a million which makes it much more secure. Similarly to Face ID, many banking apps use AI for security purposes and AI can help detect fraud.

Digital voice assistants, think 'Hey Google, Hey Siri, Alexa' all use AI within your home. I personally use Alexa the most and I do really like it and have minimal issues with it. We have a device in almost every room of the house which seems excessive but fantastic for us as we all use them throughout the day for usually small tasks but it does make a difference! If you have a Ring doorbell, you can link the devices and if you have one of the Amazon devices with a screen, you can see your Ring doorbell feed through it which I really like.

My favourite everyday task that AI can do is autocorrect. I am absolutely terrible at spelling (and grammar) and the fact that apps have been created using algorithms to be able to identify incorrect spellings is a game changer. I can't tell you how many words I had incorrectly spelled in this post alone! Even just within your phone, you will experience this but there are also specific apps like Grammarly that do this on a higher level.

If you have a business that needs some upgraded or new technology, Industrial Vision Systems are global specialists in high-performance machine vision and vision systems for quality control, inspection, guidance and sorting.
What are your thoughts and opinions on Artificial Intelligence? Do you see it as a positive or a negative?
