Gucci Blush De Beauté in Rosy Beige Review

I'm not going to lie to you, 85% of the reason why I purchased it was because of the packaging and that's fine. My money, my choice! Packaging aside, this product has impressed me so much that I will definitely be purchasing another shade or two in the next couple of months.

Gucci Blush De Beauté in Rosy Beige Review
Gucci Blush De Beauté in Rosy Beige ReviewThe Gucci Beauty Blush De Beauté is the brands first powder blush made for pure and full creative expression. It claims to have an adaptable formula of smooth powders and pigments that has been infused with emollient waxes to provide buildable, long-lasting colour that will apply seamlessly while being buildable, layer after layer.

It also has a hydrating formula with ultra-thin powders that is suitable for all skin types. It has been infused with Shea Butter, Hyaluronic Acid and Black Rose Gold to create a second-skin feel once applied. This is a scented product, it's a floral scent that Gucci calls Vintage Peony. I do like the scent, it isn't overpowering and once applied you can't smell it but if you have skin that doesn't love scented makeup products this is something to keep in mind. I personally haven't had any issues with my skin and the scent.

The packaging is exactly what you would expect from a brand like Gucci. It's extremely luxe and feels incredibly well made. I love the gold stars on the compact and the Gucci imprint in the powder itself. I ordered mine directly from the Gucci website and was also really impressed with the packaging that it arrived in. It came well wrapped and with a Gucci small fabric tote bag that I have been using for work!

I went for the shade Rosy Beige because I didn't have anything like it in my collection and I thought it would be a shade I could get a lot of wear out of as it is one of those shades that's perfect for everyday and I was right! It's one of those shades that you don't have to worry too much about what colour eye look or lipstick you are wearing with it as it doesn't clash with much.

While this is a blush, it is also a multi-use product as you can use it on the eyes as well. I love it both on the eyes and cheeks and for a product that is on the expensive side I love that you can get a couple of different uses out of it. The powder itself has a luminous matte finish and it applies so smoothly and blends with ease. You can sheer it out for a light wash of colour or you can really build up the intensity if you prefer.

It's long wearing and holds up for day without the need to reapply. I really like the look of having the blush on the cheeks and using it as an eyeshadow together! Even though this is a powder blush, it doesn't look at all powdery on the skin and I love that while it has a matte finish, it isn't flat on the skin. It adds a healthy look to the cheeks that I can't get enough of.

The Gucci Beauty blushes retail for £41 each.
