Cozy Christmas Books to Curl Up With This Holiday Season

I read a lot of books, I usually average over 150 a year, so today I thought I would share some of my festive favourite reads! These books are a mixture in length but a lot of them are novellas if you are wanting to have some quick reads to finish out your reading goals for the year! All of these books are romance books as that is 95% of what I read and enjoy! All of these books are either available in Kindle Unlimited or Audible Plus.

After an ex-boyfriend told me I’d never be able to run a half marathon, I did what any logical woman would do: I set out to prove him wrong.
We’re going to pretend like I didn’t collapse at the finish line of the race.
It’s a good thing the hot paramedic caught me before I could fall.
It’s an even better thing I ran into him at the bar the next night.
He might be my ex’s dad and sixteen years older than me, but that won’t stop me from wanting to enjoy some holiday cheer with the man I can’t stop thinking about.

I knew who she was when I caught her, but she didn’t know who I was.
When her initial shock of my identity wore off, she came home with me.
I gave her the best night of her life.
It makes sense that I found her again at the finish line of another race, and now I’m determined to keep her around for longer than a night.
Forget the age gap. Forget her history with my son.
She might be the best Christmas present I’ve ever received, and I’m in no hurry to say goodbye."

"MARGO

This is my favourite festive read of the year and honestly Chelsea has been a stand out author for me this year in general! I adore sports romances and Chelsea writes incredible ones! I devour all of her books and they just keep getting better and better!

"A Christmas mission…
Mirren’s beloved great-aunt Violet is seriously ill. Her one Christmas wish is to be reunited with a long-lost hand-illustrated book from her childhood, a challenge Mirren gladly accepts to give Violet some much-needed festive cheer.
An enchanting journey…
With no sign of the cherished volume online, Mirren falls into the fascinating world of rare books. From London to snowy Hay-on-Wye and Edinburgh’s cobbled streets, she chases leads from bookshop to bookshop—and bumps into mysterious, charming Theo, who, unbeknownst to her, is searching for the same book for reasons of his own…
The start of a new chapter?
As the two join forces to track the book down before time runs out for Violet, will Mirren find her Christmas miracle—and maybe even a kiss under the mistletoe… ?"

I don't usually read women fiction anymore and for that reason alone I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this! It's probably the most 'depressing' book out of all of them included in this post as it does base around a quest to find a book for a dieing relative but as it wasn't touched on too heavily, it was balanced well!

"After a bad breakup, Nola wants nothing to do with Christmas, especially in her quaint hometown of Bright Harbor, Maine. Infuriatingly charming and cheery, Nola’s surroundings only worsen her sour mood.
To make matters worse, Caleb, the boy who broke her heart years ago, is all grown up and still living in town. While doing her best to avoid him, Nola bumps into the local mailman, who gives her a mysterious letter. And when she finds that the writer is a fellow Scrooge, she can’t help but feel her spirit lifting.
Nola writes back to her new pen pal—who, unbeknownst to Nola, is none other than Caleb. When Caleb gets a response hand delivered by the mailman, he’s intrigued by the mystery sender. A friendly correspondence develops—and quickly turns flirtatious.
Although Nola and Caleb claim they can’t stand each other, they can’t deny the simmering attraction that brought them together in the first place.
Can these nameless pen pals write their own love story—or will they be too caught up with the ghosts of their Christmases past to find a future together?"

I have read almost the entirety of Meghan's backlist and this was one of my favourite reads! It was fun to listen to the audiobook and it was a little different in style than Meghan's usual books so I was really impressed!

"Eira Davies thought a bar napkin sketch of her best friend’s handsome brother was harmless fun—until he caught her in the act. One steamy night later, Lucas McKinney was supposed to be nothing more than a fun memory.
Fast forward six months, and Lucas is desperate to save his struggling ranch. Renting out the spare cabin on his property seems like the perfect solution, until his first guest turns out to be Eira, the woman he hasn’t stopped thinking about. A true believer in fate, Lucas can’t shake the feeling that the universe has delivered her to his doorstep with a big, shiny bow.
As sparks fly and the Christmas lights twinkle, they’ll have to figure out if this holiday surprise is just a festive fling or the real deal worth unwrapping for good."

Like Chelsea Curto, Bailey Hannah has been a standout author for me this year! If you like cowboy romances, you will fall In love with the world Bailey Hannah has created. I read her debut novel back in January and my Goodreads review says "IS THIS A DEBUT? Holy sh*t. 🙌🏼👏🏼", I have read all three releases so far and every single one is a five star read.

I flew though the five books in this collection so it's perfect if you need quick reads to finish out your 2024 reading goals! I personally found the books to be a little hit or miss from the five authors but my favourites were Merriment and Mayhem by Alexandria Bellefleur and Only Santas in the Building by Alexis Daria.

This is a three book series, all set at Hanukah but with some Christmas touches. I listened to them all on Audible as they are included in the monthly subscription. My favourite book in the series was the first one, Eight Winter Nights. The series follows a friend group and the books are all interconnected romances. The other two books in the series are Bright Winter Nights and On a Night Like This.
