Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips in Pin Up Pink Review

I have mentioned this a lot online but I really don't like liquid lipsticks, mainly because I have never been a fan of the matte finish and I just don't like my lips to be uncomfortable. I had heard really good these about the Hollywood Lips from Charlotte Tilbury and I think I have finally found a liquid lipstick formula that I actually love!

I have been really enjoying Charlotte Tilbury products so far this year and the Hollywood Lips in Pin Up Pink is another favourite. I have tried liquid lipsticks from other brands and this one just knocks all of those out of the park. I got the shade Pin Up Pink and it's a slightly shimmering coral toned pink and I find it really compliments my lighter skin tone well. They have quite a good shade selection so I think I might have to get another shade soon!

The applicator is different to what I have been used to but I actually really like it and due to its shape, I find it so easy to apply it to the lips as it hugs the lips and ensures the product doesn't go outside of my lip line. The covers the lips in just one swipe without being at all patchy. The first thing I noticed when I used this was that it doesn't dry down as much as any other liquid lipstick I have used before. While it does set, it doesn't look dry or flaky on the lips and it isn't completely transfer-proof but I actually really like that about it. Even though it does have a matte finish, it's more of a soft matte so it doesn't make your lips like they have had all the moisture sucked out of them.

It does have a moisturising formula so it is very comfortable to wear and what I love most about it is that it doesn't settle into the lip lines, it looks very smooth on the lips. Even with it not completely setting like a lot of liquid lipsticks, it is very long lasting, it pretty much lasts all day on me even with eating! I find that even when it starts to fade away, it fades very evenly so you don't have to rush to reapply!
