Essence is one of my favourite brands on the high street, I do wish they were available in more locations though. They're such an affordable brand and they have just come out with a tonne of new products that I have been putting to the test for the last couple of weeks.

There are so many new and exciting products from the brand and I have fallen in love with quite a few of them. The City of Palettes collection features four stunning palettes that retail for £7 each and I have two of them that I have been testing out. The Hello New York Palette is a cool-toned palette with a mix of matte and shimmer shades. This palette isn't something I would usually go for as I am a warm toned eyeshadow obsessive but I have loved playing around with this. I have have been using the lighter shades a few times a week. The G'Day Sydney Palette is right up my street with warmer shades. This palette is slightly more pigmented than the Hello New York and the shimmer shades feel much creamier and smoother. Both palettes are well pigmented and for the price, I don't think you can go wrong.

Blush palettes are some of my favourite products to buy and test out as I always find myself gravitating towards them more than single pan products. The Hey Cheeks Palette (£6) features highlighter, blushes and bronzing powders. This is a very warmed toned palette so it would work well for the eyes as well. The shades in this palette are extremely pigmented so go in with a very light hand! The Insta Perfect Liquid Highlighter (£3.50) is stunning for a natural highlight and for an all over glow if you aren't afraid of a little shimmer. These drops are available in two different shades, I have 10 #gold addition that works well with my lighter skin tone.

The brand has also launched a bunch of lip products including three lip balms. I have lip balms everywhere so I'm never without one. There is a moisturising balm, nourishing balm and a repairing balm. All three of them have different scents and are all extremely hydrating on the lips. For £2 each, you can't go wrong with these! The final product I have to talk about today is a new favourite of mine and it's The Dip Eyeliner (£2.50). If you like to wear winged liner, this will be your new best friend. I have been mainly using this to create the wing and a different eyeliner to line the eyes and they have been working so well together. It's intensely pigmented and I love that this doesn't bleed like some liquid liners do when you apply them. It's very long-lasting and can also be used for eye art.

I love nail polish and essence have some fantastic shades for just a few pounds each. The Shine Last & Go Gel Nail Polishes are just £1.60 each and available in a huge shade range. My favourite shade is 13 Legally Pink, this will be a perfect shade for the summer time! These apply smoothly and evenly and last well on the nails.

What's your favourite product from essence?
