Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes Review

Tarte has been one of my favourite brands for a couple of years now, I am constantly raving about Shape Tape and the Maneater Mascara! But I had never really tried out the full-size blushes and I don't know what I was waiting for as I adore them and I have been using them so much in the last couple of weeks.

Swatched: Natural Beauty and Exposed

The Amazonian Clay Blushes retail for £25 each and are available in 13 shades and I have two to share today. These blushes are made with Micronized Amazonian clay to help control oil and infuse moisture to balance the skin and for seamless blending. They consist of super soft, silky powder that are packed full of pigment but allows you to sheer them out or build up the intensity without any harsh lines or chalky build-up. When it comes to blushes, when I find a shade I like I will use it every day for months as I am quite fussy with what I like and I have found that in one of these new blushes!

The two shades I have are Natural Beauty, a rosy red, and Exposed, a nude pink, both shades are so different than what I would usually go for, I tend to stick to pinks and peaches, but I adore them and I'm so glad I had the chance to try something different. Natural Beauty on my skin tone gives me Snow White vibes and even though it does look intense in the pan, you can easily sheer it out which is how I like to wear it. This shade would look gorgeous on medium to deep skin tones. Natural Beauty is my favourite out of the two shades and I can't get enough of it! It works with all of my makeup looks and makes such a huge difference to my complexion every day.

Both of these shades are effortless to blend, so soft to the touch without having a tonne of fall out or kick back and they don't look powdery in the slightest on the skin. One of my favourite things about these blushes is how long wearing they are, there is no need to reapply throughout the day as they will hold up on the skin until I remove my makeup! I was really impressed with this as I always find that my blush will fade after a few hours of wear. Even though they are well pigmented, they aren't so intense on the first dip that you have to worry, I haven't had a single issue with these blushes. I can't wait to get my hands on a few more shades soon.

As always, Tarte is a cruelty-free brand and these products have been formulated with parabens, mineral oil, gluten and more. You can get your own blushes - HERE
