Over the last couple of years, Tarte has become one of my favourite makeup brands. I adore so many of their products, a few of them are holy grails and I am so happy that they are a cruelty-free brand. I thought I would share all of my must-have products in one post so you know exactly what you need to try if you haven't tried anything from the brand yet.
When it comes to base products, Tarte creates some of my absolute favourite products and they have been extending the shade ranges of many of them over the last year or so. The Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation (£33) has been a favourite for years. This has incredible coverage no matter whether you use a sponge or a brush to apply and it never looks cakey on the skin. This is one of the few full coverage foundations that doesn't leave you looking like you have a full face of foundation on. The latest foundation I have tried from the brand is the Foundcealer (£33) this is a skincare and foundation crossover. It's extremely comfortable on the skin, provides medium coverage and doesn't settle into lines and pores. I recently posted a full review on this product which you can check out - HERE.
I have been using a damp sponge to apply my base products for years but the one brush that I think everybody needs in their collection is The Buffer Airbrush Finish Foundation Brush (£27). This brush is magical! It gives the skin fantastic coverage and blends products like a dream. This is the only brush I will ever use to apply my foundation. When you think of Tarte, I think everybody thinks of Shape Tape, for a good reason. It is a phenomenal product and I am on my fifth tube of it now! I swear by this concealer and I'm always recommending it to everyone. It has fantastic coverage but never looks heavy or cakey on the skin. I use it on blemishes and under the eyes and I can't get enough of it.
The first of two products from Tarte that don't get the hype they should is the Maneater Mascara (£21). If you have read my blog for a while, you will know that this is my number one mascara. I am on my sixth tube of this now and I will never love anything else as much as this one. This mascara is insane! It adds so much length that my lashes will touch my brows, it adds the perfect amount of thickness without ever making the lashes look clumpy and curls the lashes as well. It doesn't flake or transfer throughout the day either.
The other product that I adore is the Quench Lip Rescue (£17). I have gone through six of these now and I have used up every single one so I need to buy some more soon. These are a drink of water for your lips. They add a hint of sheer colour that I can't get enough of and they provide long-lasting hydrating benefits. These are vegan-friendly. Other products that I love from the brand and have recently reviewed are the eyeshadow palettes and the blushes.
