This month I don't have as many favourites as I normally do and I think it is because I have pretty much used the same products as last month for the first half of the month. For the second half of the month, I have rediscovered old loves from last spring time that I used and a new product which I have become obsessed with so quickly!
Its been a while since I did one of these posts so I thought it was time for an update! I have found a few products sitting at the back of my draws which I had totally forgotten about but I have now fallen back in love with them. Some of the products I have been using this week are actually new ones and I have fallen in love with them so quickly and I can't believe it had taken me so long to try them as they had been on my wishlist for the longest time, I am kicking myself that I didn't try them sooner!
Makeup Revolution really do know what they are doing when it comes to their new releases! I have always been on the look out for a mini brush set for my handbag and I have tried the Real Techniques ones but if I am honest theses ones are one million times better and are cheaper! Thank you Makeup Revolution for creating this gorgeous little Pro Go Set*.
With the sun being out, I wanted some fruity summer scents for my room so I decided to use the Yankee Candle Mango Peach Salsa Tart. Fruit family scents are pretty much my favourite scent type all year round apart from Christmas when I go for more foodie scents. Mango Peach Salsa is a fruity lovers dream especially if you love mangoes like I do.
As it was pay day last week, I have a beauty wishlist as long as my arm! I have been thinking about making a Sephora order for the longest time but I always put things in my basket then never actually purchase them, but one of these days I actually will! There is a couple of new releases that I can't wait to get my hands on too so I am sure they will be purchased within a week or so!
Recently I have noticed my skin has been terrible and it was all down to the products I was using, or lack off, I had got really lazy and these came at the perfect time! I love using argan oil on my hair and never thought about using it within my skincare but I am hear to say all good things. These three products from Good Things have made it into my skincare routine and I know that I am going to need to repurchase these because I love them that much.
With the sun finally making an appearance, I needed a new pair of sunglasses and this home trail arrived at the perfect time. Specspost is where I get all of my glasses from and I always find the site to be so much cheaper than getting my glasses directly from the opticians and I am all for saving money! I picked three of my favourite frame styles to be sunglasses and now I need your help deciding on which one I should keep!
Over Christmas, Yankee Candle had a good sale with many wax tarts priced at 75p so I placed an order and decided to finally use my Margarita Tart. With the weather being lovely and sunny at the moment I thought it was the perfect time to use some of my fruit family scents and this one was at the top of my list.
I have mentioned this many times, but Cosme-De is one of my favourite websites when it comes to beauty products. It is like a beauty bloggers dream with so many different beauty brands with many of the products being cheaper than what they are on the UK high street. Cosme-De are celebrating their 7th anniversary this month and they have some really fun promotion happening. If you spend over $169 you get a free teddy bear which I will talk more about in a second as well as many other things, you can find out more information here.
On my birthday I decided to have a little splurge as I had a Boots giftcard and I decided to try the Chanel Perfection Lumière Long-Wear Flawless Fluid Foundation (worlds longest name), as I had been needing a new foundation with a higher coverage and longer wear so this one seemed perfect. After being colour matched by the lovely lady on the Chanel counter, I found that 12 Beige Rosé which is the lightest shade in this foundation is my perfect match.
Finding a make up bag that fits all of my make up in has always been a struggle. They are always too big or too small for all of the items I want to carry but since I have had this Orla Kiely Wash Bag* in my life I have been using it non stop and it is the perfect size for my handbag too! This print is gorgeous for the sunnier weather too.
I'm not the biggest fan of lipstick, I would pick a liquid lipstick or a gloss over lipstick most days but when I saw these L'Oreal Color Riche Lipsticks were on sale on the Superdrug website a few weeks ago (£3 each and on 3 for 2), I thought it would be a great time to retry lipsticks a try! It took me forever to decide what shades I wanted but I am so happy with the choices that I made!
