Makeup Revolution is quickly becoming one of my favourite inexpensive beauty brands, even though their prices are low that doesn't mean the quality of their products is cheap - quite the opposite! When I saw that my local Superdrug stocked Makeup Revolution I knew I had to pick something up so I chose the Blush & Contour Palette in Hot Spice. I cannot believe this palette only cost me £6, a complete steal! Blushes are one of my favourite beauty products and so are palettes so a blush palette is like my perfect beauty product!
Even though I have put myself on a spending ban, it doesn't mean I still aren't eyeing products. I might end up breaking the ban soon because I can't stop wanting these products! I find I buy more beauty products this time of year because the weather is so in between seasons so it seems pointless to buy new clothes - any one else? Some of these are new releases which just makes me want them even more and the rest are ones that I have had on my wishlist for a while but just never got round to purchasing..
Yep, I've been at it again. I can't seem to stop buying beauty products at the minute! I'm not even sorry about it, I actually have another haul coming up next week with some online beauty bargains - I can't resist a sale! I couldn't make it to V Festival this year so I ended up selling my ticket which resulted in a couple of new beauty purchases. I have had all of these products on my wishlist for a while now and I was finally able to track them down, woohoo!
I really slack when it comes to hand care. I have tried a couple different products in the past but I just hated them. They made my hands feel so greasy and just didn't do anything to make me want to continue using them. Until I started using this hand lotion* from Orla Kiely. With the Autumn coming, I want to start taking care of my hands now before they start to dry out from the cold air and this has been doing an amazing job!
I am a high street beauty lover through and through, however, I am a massive Benefit Cosmetics fan. I am yet to find a product that I don't like but I definitely have my favourites. If you have never tried any Benefit products before, these are the four that I recommend you try first! Although these products are on the pricer side, they are 100% worth it and I will repurchase these time and time again.
I can't believe its that time again to do my monthly favourites! I am quite happy that the Summer is almost over as it means its almost Winter and Christmas! This month all of my favourites are new products which is a first for me! There is a couple of high end products as well as some very inexpensive high street products lets get into my favourites this month shall we..
I had been wanting to try Colour B4 for a few months so when I saw on Twitter that they were looking for people to take part in the #CB4SummerSelfie challenge, I knew I had to get involved! This is a hair transformation challenge. What Colour B4 does is strips the dyed hair colour from your hair to reveal a lighter, sometimes your natural shade. The one I was sent is the Extra Strength version which is for dark tones and build-up which is exactly what I needed.
I have dyed my hair really dark brown for about four years and towards to the end dyeing it, the ends just looked black so I ended up just dyeing it black. I had stopped dyeing my hair and tried to fade the colour naturally which worked to an extent but I have been left with my natural lighter shade on the top and black on the ends. I used Head and Shoulders for a month or so and it did get rid of some of the colour which got rid of the harsh line towards the roots.
I am always on the hunt for the perfect combination of hair products. Having quite long hair which had been dyed for years as well as using a bit too much heat means it is extremely dry. I have found that nothing compares to the Schwarzkopf Oil-Licious Range. Currently there is a hair oil and a dry oil mist. I have used the oil for over a year but have never spoken about it until now. These two products work amazingly well together and I urge you know to go and give these a try if you can!
I cannot resist a bargain! Specially when it comes to beauty products, do I need any more make up? No, but I want it and can't seem to stop buying it. I recently discovered Xtras which has a lot of discount beauty products which is a good enough deal as it is..and then I found a discount code for a further 20% off so I thought it would be rude not to take advantage! Illamasqua has a sale twice a year, one in the Summer and one just after Christmas, and I take advantage every time so I thought it was only right to share my bargains with you!
My hair has been in a really bad state lately, I have tried so many different products to get it some what back to normal but nothing worked. So when I was contacted to try the Old Wives Tail Clove & Jojoba Oil Treatment * I thought it was a perfect opportunity! This treatment is a hydrating, natural, balancing treatment for dull, thinning or brittle/broken hair. Sounds perfect doesn't it?!
Did that title get your attention? I hope it did because its actually true! At Sk:n Clinics they offer acne scar treatments with three main treatments. The three main treatments are Skin and Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion and Laser Treatments. I had heard of skin and chemical peels before as well as Microdermabrasion but not very much about laser treatments, until now!
