January 2018 Beauty Favourites

I’m so happy to see the end of January, mainly because my birthday is in February! This month I have been trying out so many new products and I have struck gold, finding some amazing products! All of my favourites this month are new discoveries and ones I have picked up or was gifted in the last 6 weeks. 

Too Faced Diamond Light Highlighter

Highlighters are by far my favourite makeup product to buy as I feel like I can always justify it! I have had this on my wishlist ever since I saw it on Instagram, I wasn't 100% sure on the packaging at first as I thought it was cardboard and not worth the price but I am so glad I picked it up now! It's unlike anything I have tried, Too Faced has done it again!

New In Beauty: January 2018

I love seeing all the new launches come out every month so I thought I would start sharing my favourite launches of the month again! This month there has been so many incredible looking launches and if I had the bank balance for it, all of this would be mine! There also seems to be a bit of a pink packaging theme this month too....

Royal Rumble 2018 Predictions

I've decided that I need to talk about wrestling more on my blog as I know there are quite a few people that follow me that like wrestling and makeup. I love WWE as much as I do makeup so I wanted to share my Royal Rumble predictions as it's one of my favourite PPVs and I get so excited that it's finally the road to Wrestlemania.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a new watch, I do have a smart watch and I barely use the functions on it. So I knew I did want to go back to a ‘traditional’ style watch and I had been eyeing up the Adexe ones for a while now and it’s even more gorgeous in person! I know what you're thinking... you have dark hair why are you talking about blonde products? Well, I wanted to be able to share a little something different and as I can't personally test these out myself - I had my Mum put them to the test! She always gives me her thoughts on products so I thought I would have her review these for me. I have noticed a huge difference in her hair since she started using them!

Institut Esthederm Intensive Vitamin C Cream

Vitamin C in skincare is going to be a big trend in the next couple of months, I have already reviewed one Vitamin C product and I have more posts on them coming soon! This is a really expensive face cream so I was really interested to see just how well it works and I have pretty much fallen in love with it!

Essie Winter Nail Polish Staples

Winter is my favourite season when it comes to nails, I love all the darker shades. I know I can wear them whenever I like but they are just my favourite thing at this time of year. I don't usually have the time to paint my nails but I have made it a 2018 goal to take a little time for myself every few years and painting my nails is something I have been really enjoying.

Glossier Haul

I have had some credit on Glossier burning a hole in my pocket for weeks. Then finally they dropped a new product and POOF all my credit (and money) went! I had been hearing about the new product on social for a little while so I'm glad I held out as it sounds perfect for my skin. GOSH Mix & Fix Colour Drops

I have been wanting to try this kind of product for a while now and I am all about finding gems on the high street. I have been using GOSH products for years and I couldn't wait to give this new launch a try and these haven't disappointed at all! These are definitely something you should invest in, if you ask me.

What to Watch on Netflix This Weekend

If I could get paid to binge watch Netflix, I would have found my dream job. I bloody love Netflix and I am constantly watching movies and TV shows on the app and recommending my favourites. If you are looking for something to watch this weekend, these are my six top picks at the moment. I would include Friends but everyone is watching that at the moment, myself included! 

Cruelty Free Beauty

Last year after I saw something that Kat Von D had posted on Instagram, about animal testing, I said I would never personally buy any makeup that is tested on animals ever again. I have had to stop buying what were some of my favourite brands and products and find replacements. Luckily my top three brands don't test on animals or sell in China. Everyone is different when it comes to this topic and some people won't buy products from Urban Decay or Too Faced for example as their parent companies test on animals but if the actual brand doesn't test on them then I will buy their products, I hope that makes sense.
